Payment is made monthly; in some cases we may ask for a prepayment.

There is no minimum or maximum rental period.
Is there a washing machine / dryer in the apartment or in the building?
A washing machine and a dryer are at your disposal in the basement, the machine is functional with CHF coins (CHF 6.- / hour). You have washing powder for free at your disposal.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed.
How often is my apartment cleaned?
Your apartment is cleaned once a week, we propose daily cleaning from Monday to Friday for an additional cost.
Am I allowed to receive guests or have them stay overnight?
Every visitor that stays overnight in the apartment house must be announced to reception. For apartments, which are intended only for one person (single apartment), CHF 25.- per night is additionally charged. The number of overnight stays for visitors is limited in this type of apartment. We are happy to prepare your apartment for two people with an additional pillow, blanket and towels. Each visitor must pay city tax of CHF 4.20 per night and receives the BaselCard to use all public transport for free.
Can I use the address as my residential address?
Yes, you can use the address for your mail and parcels.
Is there luggage storage?
Yes, you can storage your luggage with us.
How does check-in work – is there a key, code, or self-check-in?
You will receive a code for the entrance door and information about where to pick-up your apartment key. Should you arrive during our office hours we are happy to welcome you personally. Outside opening hours self-check in is possible.
Can I check in earlier or check out later?
We will be happy to accommodate your needs, subject to availability.
Who is the contact person in case of problems in the apartment?
Is the public transportation ticket (BaselCard) included?
Every visitor who stays overnight in the canton of Basel-Stadt receives one BaselCard per person per night in return for paying city tax. This is valid for the entire stay up to a maximum of 30 days. The BaselCard is issued at check-in.
Exception: In accordance with the city tax legislation, residents of the canton of Basel-Stadt are not subject to city tax and are therefore not entitled to the BaselCard.
Are there parking facilities?
We are in the city center of Basel in a pedestrian zone, access with car is limited from Monday – Saturday 5am to 11am. Car parking “Storchen” is 3 minutes’ walk from the apartments. If you are looking for monthly parking, please use car parking “Steinen”, “Elisabethen” or “City”.
